When I first set out to write this article, the idea was to explain to fellow-dieters how tremendously useful self-hypnosis and NLP is to ensure weight loss success. Somehow it didn’t quite turn out that way. What started as a superficial intellectual exercise ended as an in-depth personal exploration of my own weight loss theories.
How did it all come about? At the time I was preparing the material for a new e-book about weight loss through hypnosis, my personal life was rather complicated and getting more complicated by the day. Somewhere along the way I had also picked up a few very stubborn kilos that I just couldn’t get rid off.

Weight Loss Through Hypnosis

As defined, self-hypnosis—also called “autohypnosis”—refers to a form of hypnosis where self-induction is used. Here, the person who practices self hypnosis uses “autosuggestion” or self-suggestion to be able to adjust or overcome certain conditions or situations. In most cases, self-hypnosis is used as a therapeutic supplement along with hypnotherapy.
Before getting into self-hypnosis the best way to go is to research about it thoroughly first. Through research, you can get extensive information about the practice and you will have a better understanding how it would benefit you the most. You can do your research by getting online and surf websites that offer information aligned with the practice.
